Carole and I went to P.S. 146 together and remained friends throughout all these years. We planned to get together in person when I returned to Moorestown for Thanksgiving but I couldn’t make it this year. What a shame. She was a lovely person and I’ll miss her. She was probably the spunkiest person I had the privilege to know. She had more energy than anyone ever. She was like my second mom.

I know this is a hard time for your family. Remember the good times you had with your mom over the years. She’d want you to be respectful and mourn, but she’d want you to enjoy the holidays too. Know that she is in heaven with no pain and always with you in your heart and memories.

I knew that one day you would have to leave this Earth. I just can not believe you are gone. These last few weeks I watched you slowly transition from your earthly life to your heavenly life. I know you are at peace now. I will miss taking you to Atlantic city even though you always made me nervous driving, lol. I will miss going to breakfast or lunch with you. Life will definitely be different without you here. I love you Mommy
