I just saw this...I am heartbroken. Carole started as my hairdresser when I was a child and quickly became a very dear friend, confidant, and counselor. She helped me through many of the worst times in my life and the very best! She was the BEST friend anyone could ask for, always there for you and always willing to help. Carole was my babysitter for many years and an later became a good friend. Her mother taught me how to knit and crochet. We lived next door to Carole and her family for many years. Carole was the sweetest, kindest and most patient person I ever have known. She always had a bright smile and open arms. I loved talking to her about just about anything. We loved the same music—especially Three Dog Night. I will miss Carole so much!

Carole was more than a long-time neighbor and friend; she was family to me, my siblings, and parents. She, of course, gave us all haircuts when we were little, and even gave my daughter, Keirsten, her first haircut. She was always genuinely interested in hearing about whatever was going on in my life. Carole was a beautiful soul and will be forever missed.
