Carole Ella Young

Ms. Carol Ella Hinckley Young, age 79, of Watertown, TN passed away November 9, 2025, at her home. She was a devoted mother and friend who cared deeply for others, which led to her career in nursing, holding many positions throughout her life. Carol was an active member of the Methodist church, where she found joy in worship and singing, spreading kindness to all she met. She also loved sitting by her window, watching the birds and enjoying the beauty of nature.

She is preceded in death by her brother Roy S. Hinckley, and her sons Eddie and Kevin Vaughn. Carol is survived by her two grandsons, Michael and Eric Vaughn.

Visitation is at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 at Hunter Funeral Home with a celebration of life at 4 p.m.
