This hits me very hard. Carolyn and I were friends and neighbors and had some good times together, Carolyn was also a bridesmaid in my wedding and will be missed.

Carolyn is, and has always been, one of a kind. Carolyn was always so full of positive energy and laughter. I hear her smiling and laughing even as I pen these thoughts of her. One of my first memories of Carolyn was watching her get her hair and make up just right in Kinston. I was in 4th grade and was soooo drawn to her. You never left Carolyn's presence feeling anything but how special you were. As I grew up, every time I was around Carolyn that same feeling of being special came over me....
