I visited Carolyn a lot and in our younger days we went to church together joiner Baptist where I still go our kids were all good friends I didn’t know when I left her I would never get to visit with her again I know she was ready to meet our Savior Carolyn was beautiful soul

I was blessed to get to know Ms Carolyn as a volunteer at Harris Healthcare. She was always one of the first one to come out to hear me play. She will be so greatly missed.

Carolyn Jean Smith of Osceola, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the age of 78. She was born on November 25, 1947, to Presley and Jewell Campbell Harrison, in Wilson, Arkansas. Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, husband Pete Smith, one son Jerry Paul Smith, two daughters Jewel Lynn Thomas and Mary Carol Arquitt, two brothers Willie Harrison and Lee Red Harrison and two sisters Joyce Johnson and Janice Lee. Carolyn is survived by one daughter Lena Lucinda Smith of Bartlett, Tennessee, seven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at 1:00p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas, with Brother B.J. Chipman officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 11:00a.m. until service time. Interment will be at a later date at Bassett Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas.
