Carrie Lynn “Carrie girl” Heath, 48, passed away on August 8, 2025, in Burkburnett, Texas. Born on January 27, 1977, in Putnam, Connecticut, Carrie brought color and light to the world from her very first breath.
With a heart as vibrant as her favorite shades of nail polish and a soul that danced to the beats of Madonna, Prince, Debbie Gibson, and New Kids on the Block, Carrie lived fully and loved deeply. You could usually find her singing along to music that stirred her spirit or simply basking in the sun until she eventually fell asleep outside.
Carrie delighted in life’s simple pleasures: swimming with her great niece and nephew and other family members, coloring bold abstract pictures that now grace the walls of her loved ones’ homes (including one of a beautiful eggplant hanging in her sister’s kitchen), playing video games with her nephew, and dominating every game of Yahtzee.
Her love for people was boundless. Carrie wanted to be part of every moment, every gathering. Her hugs were legendary—offered freely and filled with sincerity—and she had an extraordinary gift for making others feel loved, cherished, and undeniably happy.
She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Kimberly Heath, whose steadfast presence brought strength and support through every single chapter of Carrie’s life. Carrie was preceded in death by Debbra and Larry Caouette.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Carrie’s home at 116 Margaret St., where friends and family will gather over burgers, hot dogs, music, and all of Carrie’s favorite pastimes.
Carrie’s legacy shines in laughter shared, colors created, songs sung under the sun—and in every heart she touched with love.
