Passed away Monday August 27, 2018 at Fairview Nursing Home in Centreville. Catherine was born July 29, 1926 in Ironton, OH the daughter of Charles and Genevieve (Lipker) Hacker. She was a member of St. Augustine Cathedral and the DAV Auxiliary. Surviving are four children, John (Tina) VanDeWeghe, Frances Stark, Mary VanDeWeghe, Janet Knowlton; sister, Eva VanBeck; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis in 2004; brother Charles Hacker; three sisters, Charlene Charlesworth, Mary Bartholomew, Helen Fiegal. Friends will be received from 10 am to 11 am. Services will be held 11 am Thursday August 30, 2018 at Parchment Redmond Funeral Home. Interment will be in Ft. Custer National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
