Cecilia Marie Cortez

Cecilia Marie Cortez, 52, of Houston, Texas, entered into eternal rest on October 11, 2025. She was born in Houston, Texas, on November 19, 1972.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Esther Rodriguez, and her brother, Alfred Cortez. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories through her devoted daughter, Priscilla Cortez, and her precious grandson, Elijah Ramirez. She is also survived by her siblings: Martin and Imelda; Rebecca and Rick Albarado; Rachel and Oliver Manolescu; Angel; and their growing families, including numerous nieces and nephews who will forever hold her close in their hearts.

Services have been entrusted to South Houston Funeral Home. The family will welcome friends and loved ones for visitation on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the main chapel, where a Celebration of Cecilia’s Life will be held.

Her kindness, laughter, and love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
