Not sure what to say?

I miss you. Today. Tomorrow. Forever. Can't wait til the day we meet again.

While there is no way I can feel your pain, I do feel your loss as I have known Chad for many years. Peace and love to you and your family during this sorrowful time. Now he can run with the Big Dogs. RIP Chad, I will miss our conversation about your beloved Longhorns and my Aggies.

May God wrap your family in his love and comfort during your time of sorrow.

I was just informed and to say the least, my heart is very heavy. Chad landscaped around my pool when it was put in and made it so beautiful! Chad was a great guy with a smile that was contagious! My condolences to his family. He will be dearly missed!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Chad was a great friend who will never be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Chad's passing. He and Jodie were classmates from the early grades. Prayers for comfort at this time are being said.

Love and comforting prayers to the Holmstrom family.
Ivan and Barbara Leschber

Chad was a good guy and a great friend to my husband. He had many friends here in Port O'Connor. He will be missed dearly and was loved by many.

I am so, so sorry for your loss. Though I didn't know Chad, I have worked with Terrie for years, and I know how much she loves her "little brother". Your family remains in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord help you find strength and peace during such a difficult time.

Chad's Obituary

Chad Robert Holmstrom left us suddenly Friday afternoon, July 21, 2017, walking up the stairs to his home in Port O'Connor, Texas as if stepping into his new home in Heaven.Chad graduated from Taylor High School in 1988 and then attended Southwest Texas State University. He worked for Academy for 12 years before starting his own importing business. He grew his business and branched into manufacturing barbeque pits (Old Country BBQ Pits) and even buying and remodeling vacation homes along the Texas coast. He provided barbeque pits all over central Texas.Chad's love for life included everything from his passion for fishing, hunting, barbecuing and watching the Longhorns, to his passion for his work. He always rose early in the morning so he could start building something. His mind and his hands were always busy either in a flowerbed, landscaping, building a planter, deck, fence, house, business or his legacy. But his greatest build was built with his heart; his deep bonds of love with his family, his friends and his dogs.Chad will be missed by all of us but we can take comfort in knowing he is reunited with this brother Stan and his loving "Popa", TW.Left cherishing his memories are his mother Lillian Holmstrom, brother Trent Holmstrom and wife Gayle, sister Terrie Holmstrom and husband David Gomez, nieces and nephews Jayme Holmstrom Delgado and husband Mark, Shelly Holmstrom, Lance Holmstrom, Torry Harrison and wife Amy, and 4 great nieces.Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Providence Funeral Home.
