Scott and Dawn O'Brien wanted to send our deepest condolences to Chads family. Chad was a dear friend of Scott's growing up. Chad was also a part of our wedding many many years ago. He will be missed. R.I.P.

Chad's Obituary

Chad Michael Salgat of Davison, age 51, died Saturday January 20, 2024. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. No public services are being held.

Chad was born in Flint Michigan on June 4, 1971 the son of the Darrel and Linda (Revord) Salgat and has resided in the Davison are his entire life. Chad loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed camping. He had a passion for sports especially football and baseball. Chad was painter in the building trades for many years.

Surviving is son, Garrett, and daughters: Mackenzie and husband Jonathan Reynolds, and Amanda and husband Joel Peura. He also leaves his loving grandchildren: Lainey Peura, Eli Reynolds, and Brantley Reynolds. Chad is also survived by his mother Linda Salgat, mothers of his children Shawn Salgat, Amy Writ, and a host of extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Darrell Salgat, cousin Wade Salgat, and brother-in-law Chad Provost.
