My oldest and best buddy. So many memories of our growing up together. Coming home to Hampstead just won’t be the same.

That always smiling face that would meet you at the back door will be greatly missed. I love you and will cherish the memories I have with you! You can now relax, play the guitar and rest in peace

Charles is so loved! He would ask mom and dad (Ralph&Ora Lee Simmons) when I was going to be in town that he had a song for me to hear! The Batts and Simmons families go way back, 90+ years. He loved his family and so proud of his grandchildren! Chuck I am sorry for your loss!

Play along with Charlie many times. He was a great guitarist and loved to sing “Waltz across Texas “.
