Not sure what to say?

I just found out last night of Chuck's passing. He was a fellow I wanted to have one last conversation with but I waited too long- my loss. We worked together at the South Pedlar ATV Trail. He took time to explain to me the history of which Confederate flag should be flown, if you had a mind to fly one. A true southern gentleman he was. My condolences to your family, Old Friend.

I am a member of Harvest Baptist Church. I met Charles and his wife there. Charles was in the choir and active at church. Always a nice and relaxed demeanor. He will be remembered and missed. I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry with the loss of Chuck. I am honored to have met him. Chuck will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I also offer our many thanks to Chuck and the Staunton Artillery for many years of faithful service to our group the J.E.B. Stuart Ch # 156 UDC of Staunton. He was a most delightful man who will be missed.

Prayers for comfort and peace for the family during this time of need.

I met Chuck years ago as a friend of his sister, Linda Huff. Chuck was so kind and giving. We had some awesome times at The Colonial Restaurant on Rt. 29, lots of laughs.

Chuck came to church with Linda & I. Pastor Vernon struck up a strong friendship. Pastor Gary Vernon said Chuck was suvh a good man. I want, along with thousands to thank Chuck & Joanie for their love of parks and trails and all the hours put it to keep them open after major storms & winter.

Chuck...

Becky, I'm so sorry for your loss. You and the family will be in my prayers.

I didn’t know Chuck very well when we were in school. But I got to know him while working on our class reunion committee. He helped with both the 45th and 50th. What a character! So much fun. He was a good fit for our group. My heart and prayers go out to Joan and the family.

We thought the world of Chuck, and we will miss him terribly, but we are assured to see him again. He was a good man, a generous man, that loved his wife Joan with all his heart, and we are honored to be counted as his friends.
