Not sure what to say?

Charles attended the first grade and second grade at New Salem High School.

Charles L. Wise was a classmate throughout our time at New Salem High School. He was, early on, as he has been described in these tributes a kind, respectful, knowledgeable person. His mother was my aunt's best "phone friend" and they shared much history. Charles always sent Christmas Cards and attended our class reunions. I am so sorry that I missed his passing and his service. Being remembered after 50+ years always made him special as the passage of time endears, even in absence, those...

It is sad to hear about Charlie passing from this world.. but very encouraging to know that he is in a better place!!! Midway will certainly missing him!!!!

Charlie was a wonderful man and he loved flowers. He was a dear friend to my Aunt, my Uncle and me. He loved flowers and surprised me many times when I arrived home, he had planted flowers that he loved in my yard and gave me a cassette tape years ago of his favorite song "God's Coloring Book" which was played to honor him at his "Celebration of Life." He will be dearly missed by a lot of people. God Bless his family as he was a blessing to mine.

We were so saddened to hear the news of Charlie's passing. He was a very generous and kind man. He very often shared vegetables from his garden with us. And if we had any gardening questions, he always had an answer. We extend our prayers to his family. We will miss him.

Charlie was one of the kindest souls I ever knew. I met him during the 3 years I worked at the convenience store on the corner of Hickory Tree and old 52. He started out as a customer, then a regular and lastly, a dear friend. Charlie did me countless favors and was always there for anything I needed. If I ever had a question or a problem he had an answer or a solution. If he didn't, he would find it and get it back to me. He always told me he thought of me as one of his kids and with the way...

God Bless all of you, I pray God comforts you at this time as only HE can! I have wonderful memories of Charles and his young family as I was growing up! Such a special person! Love you!

God bless your family. So sorry for your loss of a dear love one. Charlie F. Sides and families of Lexington, NC.

I am so sorry for your loss. May the days ahead fill your heart with love and peace.

A wonderful friend and outstanding neighbor! Al and De Lyon
