Charles Ray Chester

Charles went to school with my brother Carl Strawn. We grew up with the Chester family especially the boys. Charles was always so sweet and respectful to the elders around. And my parents always thought a lot of him. He was such a special man who ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE. We have his school picture from when they was in the 1st grade and he had the same smile back then too. I just wished that we could had caught up 1 more time before his passing. Rest In Peace our Dear Ole Friend.

He was full of life, and kept a smile on his face. I’ve never seen him not smiling. Rest in Heaven my brother. No one can ever speak ill words about him ever. Charles had a kind soul and Heaven is celebrating. Well done my good and faithful Servant. It is done.

To my family I am sending you love and strength. Charles was an amazing person with an amazing wife. Patricia thank you for sharing him with the world. He was full of laughter, jokes and a man of God!

My heart is both heavy and happy. Bro. Chester was such a joy to be around. Always had a smile and a positive word for everyone. God's love showed up in you everyday and you always shared that with us. Thank you, thank you, thanks you for being there and the prayers you sent up for me and my family. You will be missed, but take your rest my friend. Until we meet again...

I was saddened to hear of your transition, but glad to know energy never truly ends. Brother Chester was always so kind to me. Always offering a smiling face and a "let me get that hand sistah!" Some personalities are truly unforgettable; you are one.
