Not sure what to say?

I knew Chuck for over 60 years. He was in my wedding and we were roommates after college. When we connected later in life it was always about his growing family, the center of everything, his business, investments, the economy and, of course, health issues. He was a dear friend who always provided wise counsel and he would send me all kinds of links to be sure I was up to date on what he was seeing and reading about.
But my best memories of Chuck go back to our growing up days in...

I'm sorry I didn't know of Chuck's condition or his recent passing. We were in Leadership Wilmington together in 2012-2013. Chuck was also a client of mine for a few years. He was kind, thoughtful, and a focused businessman. A good fellow, to be sure.

I was blessed to have met Chuck in the Wilm East Rotary Club many years ago. I often sat with chuck during the meetings and enjoyed our talks together. I considered chuck a good friend, he was wise, always kind, a good businessman, and a loyal rotarian. I will always have good memories of chuck. I pray for peace for his family and friends and we can all rest easier in knowing that he is with our good Lord in heaven and at peace now. God bless Trish and all the family members.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Trish and familysending my deepest sympathies and condolences for your heart breaking tragedy and loss. I continue to pray for strength for each of you. God is good and He will take care of each of you. Lots of love and prayers are with you each day.

We have fond memories of our kids growing up in the neighborhood with the Stone family. Lots of good memories- Bob playing little league baseball, Janelle cruising with her Dad in the old convertible & Michael always smiling. RIP Chuck.
The Schoolfield family

I remember when he and his father opened their business on S College Road. It was always a joy to do business there. Great customer service - I never had any problems.
I saw him recently at his neurologist while there with my aunt and he displayed the same determination!!! So glad that I saw him after so.many years ... RIP Chuck!!!
My sincere condolences to each of you

Chuck was and will always be my big brother. I clung to him when fearful as a young child; argued with him in our early teens; followed him to our shared alma mater. He solely supported me during my rebellious years, to anyone who criticized me, saying that he just wanted to be my brother. He was always quick and persistent with brotherly advice. More recently, he showed me how to handle adversity with grace and determination. I will miss him dearly, every day.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
