Charlie Croley, III, age 79, of Perryton, Texas passed away on Wednesday October 6, 2021 in Perryton, Texas. Viewing/visitation will be held at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Perryton, Texas on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, October 8, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Burial will be scheduled for a later date in Ochiltree Cemetery. Cremation, and arrangements are under the direction of Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.
Charles was born on March 15, 1942 in De Kalb, Texas to Charles Croley, II and Virginia Talley. He married Rhonda McClure on June 24, 1960 in Perryton, Texas. He served in the United States military in the Air Force. He worked in the oilfield, loved drag races and classic cars. He loved his family and friends, and he loved his dog Tigger!
He is survived by his wife, Rhonda of Perryton; two daughters, Shelia Eisenman and Kathy Welch, both of Perryton; one son, Dennis Croley of Victoria, Texas; two sisters, Joyce Prater and Sharon Isaacs; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Charline Croley; one grandson, Nicholas Welch; and two brothers, Bill Croley and Johnny Croley.
The family requests memorials be to one’s favorite charity.
