Charles Delbert Cullar, 71, of Wichita Falls passed away Friday, September 15, 2023.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, September 22, 2023 at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
Charles was born on November 21, 1951 in Wichita Falls to the late Charles Wayne and Vera Ann (Erwin) Cullar. He attended Wichita Falls High School, and worked for the Wichita Falls Housing Authority. Charles enjoyed working on old cars, and watching NASCAR. For many years, he raced both dirt and asphalt at local tracks. He was passionate about car shows, and loved to listen to Elvis. His true passion in life was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Velma Walthers, and Shirley Hero; and brother Billy Cullar.
Charles is survived by his wife Rita; son Jerry Cullar of Wichita Falls; daughters Phillis Zuspan and Lisa Cullar of Wichita Falls; step-children Jason Payne and wife Tara of Newcastle, Oklahoma and Angela Davis and husband Steven of Burkburnett; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
