Not sure what to say?

It was my privilege to have met Charlie in the last few years. He was a wonderful gentleman. Now he is at peace and without pain. I know he will be missed by daughter Nancy and her family and Alexandria friends like me. My deepest sympathy goes to Joan Nancy and Charlie. Let the good memories carry you through this difficult time.

Dear Joan,

Ruth and I were saddened to read of your loss of Charlie. He and I were very close during our time at AFCRL and I always looked forward to seeing you at our Prof. King birthday parties. Charlie possessed all of the qualities of a true gentleman and I am sure that both of you enjoyed your many years of a blessed marriage.
Ruth and I are at the Cape for the summer and will be unable to attend the funeral. You and your family have our deepest sympathy.

This book of memories is to serve as a record of the services you entrusted to us. We hope it will help to preserve treasured memories and that we, in some small measure, have helped to ease your burden and bring you comfort.
