PEARL “KITTY” MORAN ROPER, 82, of Slidell, LA, passed away peacefully in her Slidell home in the presence of loved ones on Thursday, February 8, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son: Walter Joseph Delle III; two brothers: Lovie V. Moran Jr (Sharon),Lonnie O. Moran (Dawn); one sister: Marcella M. Dicks; her parents: Lovie V. Moran and Hilda E. Strain.Pearl is survived by her husband: David Gerald Roper; one daughter: Kathryn Roper Camp (Carl); three grandchildren: Ashley E. Barbier, Walter W. Delle (Liz), Kelly W. Camp; two brothers: Timothy O. Moran (Denise), Vance W. Moran (Florence); one sister: Eunice M. LaDell. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Funeral Services will be held at HONAKER FUNERAL HOME,1751 GAUSE Blvd. WEST (IN FOREST LAWN CEMETERY), Slidell, LA on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 10:00am. Burial will be in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.
