Mr. Charles U. Fields Sr. entered into rest on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Bethel Community Apostolic Church. Interment will be at Walker Memorial Park. He is survived by his son, Charles U. Fields Jr.; mother, Rose Fields Garrett Upshaw; sisters, Alison D. Fields, Beverly R. Fields and Jessica C. Andrews; brother, Sampson O. Fields; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Fields may be viewed on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 1 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Williams Funeral Home, 1765 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Augusta, GA.
