Charles T. Kay, Sr., age 74, died peacefully on June 30, 2015 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.He was a lifelong resident of Chicago. He attended Weber High School and University of Illinois. In his early years, Chuck, as he preferred to be called, enjoyed playing sports, especially golf and after his life changing accident in 1993 he never missed watching a golf tournament on TV.He is survived by his former wife, best friend and caregiver Geraldine (Geri) Kay of Schiller Park, Il., his stepson Robert Radke Kay of Los Angeles, his son Charles T. Kay, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ, and his sister Linda Kay of Gulfport, FL. A Chapel service will be held on August 1, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of St. Adelbert Cemetery located at 6800 Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL 60714.In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to (RIC) Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, 345 East Superior St., Chicago, IL 60611.Family and friends may sign a guest book at.
