Not sure what to say?

To the children and grandchildren of Charles LaFerrara , please accept my sincere condolences. You four children, I had the pleasure know, attend high school, work with, and hunt with all of you and your father Charles since my age of sixteen. In the beginning of my senior high school year, my father had a stroke, where he lost most of his verbal speaking. Mr. Charlie (Mr. LaFerrara), as I called him sort of became my fatherly advisor and mentor for the next eight years, as I was employed...

Sorry to learn online about Charlie's passing. He follows cousin Philip T. Rodilosso, MD, my husband, son of Mary, Ann's sister, by a bit more than 8 years. Also, I note Marian and Joyce's passing with sorrow. I spoke with son of Uncle Phil (brother to Mary and Ann),: Philip T. Rodilosso in NC late today. We are trying to contact Chatterton family. Cousin Annie ,wife of Mickey in NC. Not yet successful. We may yet find them through Pat, Tom Rodilosso's widow. Tom, Ann and Josephine...

WE LOVED Charlie!!! We had a fantastic Sicilian Dinner Club with Charlie / Sal / Lou and Carmen plus our wives once a month for many years. Delicious Italian 5 course meals and plenty of wine. We were charter members of Sons of Italy in 1978. We always had wonderful Sons of Italy Family Picnic's with our wives and kids every year at Carmen and Barbara Federico Backyard with TONS of Food. The highlight was the Sicilian Bocce team were undefeated against the Italian Bocce team lead by of...

We are so sorry. Charlie was a good friend to Hank & I. We loved seeing his smile in the mornings when we were at CrossGates Pontchartrain. I will be forever grateful for Charlie teaching Hank the secret on making a true, terrific red gravy. I heard a saying (but I can't remember exactly where or who) .... "there are 2 kinds of people in the world - Italians and those who wish they were Italian." May God comfort your family and you throughout this time.

He was a wonderful man and I loved him. He was my daddy's best friend and he was like another dad to us girls. He was loved by a wonderful and loving family who will miss him terribly. But all of us rejoice in knowing he has reunited with his true love and they are with family and friends. God bless you Mr. Charlie, until we meet again. Love you!

So sorry for your loss Karen. I know how much you loved him! You were a wonderful daughter. Cherish the memories, it will always hurt your heart but the pain does lessen over time...❤ My thoughts are with you and your entire family.

Very sorry for your lose. Let the Lord comfort and hold you tight during this time. The Zerangue Family, Harold, Linda, Megan Z Piper, Nicholas & KATHLEEN & Brandon Richardson

Very sorry to hear of Mr. LaFerrara's passing. I was privileged to meet him in the last few months. He had a great personality and a great love for each of his family members. Very proud of each of his children and grandchildren. May he rest in peace. Colleen Fickle

Mr. Charlie was one of the Good Guys. Prayers are with the entire LaFerrara Family and all concern. R.I.P. Sir.
