Charlie was my AA Sponsor for 27 years. He helped me and countless other men find our way. My most heartfelt condolences to Ms. Belinda, Shelley, Nicky and the whole family. Charlie always treated my family like his. An amazing genuine soul, I am blessed to have witnessed the love my Yaya and Charlie have for each other. He’s made her smile so much I have never seen her smile and giggle that much until she met him. Charlie thank you for your wisdom, your kindness, your honesty, your love, and for making my grandma so happy. I hope everybody can find a Charlie because he is great.

I was lucky enough to be Charlie & Karen’s neighbors for years growing up in Cicero. I stopped by and seen Charlie a few months ago. I’m so glad I got to see him and talk to him for a while.
