Charles's Obituaries
Portsmouth – Charles Preston “Jack” McKee, Jr., 95, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Richmond, VA. He was born in North Carolina to the late Helen and Charles P. McKee, Sr. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran and retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary A. McKee; and two daughters, Theresa McGehee and Cindy Wynn.
He is survived by his three sons, Charles P. McKee, III and wife Norma, John B. McKee and Dwight A. McKee and wife Kelly; a brother, Jim McKee; two sisters, Christine McKee Mellinger and Helen McKee Johnson; sixteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 3 P.M. Monday, April 25, at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 3 – 5 P.M.
