I had the pleasure of being one of Chuck's nurses for the last few months. His always positive, sunny disposition made him such an easy-to-love patient. On days I worked on other units, I always made sure to stop by and say hi, looking forward to his face lighting up and saying, "I'm doing alright, how are you?" Brenda, Jerry and family I am so sorry for your loss. My heart and prayers are with you at this most difficult time. Chuck as I remember him was such a wonderful guy. So kind and patient. Everybody loved him. He worked hard and was great at his job. I was so happy when you guys got together. He loved you so much. I hope he is at peace and will rest until you are together again in heaven. Take care of yourself.
