Charles Linwood “Puggy” Waddell, Jr., 72, of the 3400 block of Angler Street, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in a Portsmouth hospital. A native of Portsmouth, he was a retired ironworker for Lockwood Brothers in Hampton and Iron Workers Local 79.Survivors include his wife, Connie M. Waddell; a daughter, Debora A. Waddell and husband William Willis of Battery Park, VA; a son, Charles L. Waddell and wife Alicia of Carrollton; a sister, Patricia Altman of Chesapeake; a brother, Earl Waddell of Portsmouth; and two grandchildren, Charles Colby Waddell and Holly Renae Waddell.A memorial service will be held on 1 PM Friday, February 12, in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel by Dr. Gene Primm.www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
