Charles Lee West, Jr age 67, of Somerset, departed this life on Saturday, March 30, 2024. He was born on December 10, 1956 in Somerset, KY to Charles Lee West, Sr and Belle Conn West. Charles lived all of his life in Pulaski County, he grew up on Fishing Creek with his friends and family, mostly with his father, as an avid outdoorsman. His world revolved around his kids and grandkids that he loved dearly.
Charles is survived by his parents, Charles Sr and Belle West of Somerset; one son, Jonathan “Tyler” West of Somerset; one daughter, Kalee Noel West of Somerset; two grandchildren, Leah Bailey West and Grayson Sawyer West; and many beloved friends, including Wayne Colyer of Somerset and Russell Blanton of Crab Orchard, KY.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Reba and William Shelby Conn; and a nephew, Brett Jackson Cornett.
A Celebration of Life for Charles will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
