Not sure what to say?

Jane I was so sorry to hear about Tom's passing. It is a loss for this world where we need more people like Tom. He always had a smile and a kind word of encouragement. I remember you two dancing at my daughter's wedding. You were great for each other. Always enjoyed being neighbors, too. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. My best to all of your family. Kevin

Tom was such a special person and I always enjoyed seeing him. We worked professionally together on many building projects over the years and spent time just enjoying a meal or some social events with he and Jane and his extended family here in Columbia.
Like others have shared. He was genuine, caring and just plain fun to be around. He will be missed. God Bless Tom. May God's peace be with his family.

Tom had a warmth and kindness that you don’t see in many people. A southern gentleman, always with a funny story to tell. We spent many hours together writing lighting specifications, going to lunch or sharing a story and a laugh over a biscuit. I will miss his stories, his laughter and his kindness very much!

Tom was one of my favorite people in the world, always brought a smile to our office when he visited. He was more than a professional associate, he was a friend. Tom was funny, inciteful, opinionated, honest, and just a good man. I am truly saddened by his death.

As I sit here at the farm writing this, I can't help but to laugh as I think back of some of the memories I have of Tom here deer and turkey hunting with me. He became a part of our family over the years. He knew all of my family members by name and stayed in touch with them.

Tom and I had a friend ship that spanned over thirty years and it will be missed, but never forgotten. RIP my friend.

For 40 years Tom Elder was a very true and dear friend. I have years of memories going back 4 decades spent laughing, fishing, hunting and enjoying each other’s company.

Words do not express my genuine love for the man who stayed true to his friendship. I miss you dearly.
