To David's Family: I had the pleasure of serving in the Cherry Blossom Lion's Club with David (and Millie). They were both a joy to be around. When I read the obit, the first thing I thought of was that pleasant smile.

Charlie David Sadler, Sr. went to be with his Heavenly Father on April 16, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at Hart's at the Cupola, 6324 Peake Road, with the Reverend Steve Johnson and the Reverend Eddie Windham officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will greet friends between 6:00-8:00PM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Cupola. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Pointe Hospice, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, Georgia 31210.Mr. Sadler retired from the City of Macon. He served over 40 years. He attended New Heights Baptist Church. He was a member of the Lion's Club. Mr. Sadler enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids, and family. He had a love for music and enjoyed dancing as well. He frequently attended the Old Clinton Opry and the Powersville Opry where he had many friends. He lived life to the fullest and always had a smile on his face. He was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Millie Sadler. Survivors include his daughter, Ellen Porter (Phil) of Macon; daughter, Susan Parker (Bill) of Stockbridge; son, Charlie David "Buddy" Sadler, Jr. of Lizella; and son, Lynn Paige of East Point, Florida; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
