Not sure what to say?

Sal and Charlotte were truly my "second parents" for most of my childhood. Think i spent more time at their house in Sylmar California, than i did at my own home.

I can't agree more about Charlotte's cooking skills, maybe one of the many reasons i spend so much time there with their son (and my best friend) Mike.

Charlotte &'s Obituary

Charlotte Sciuto (96) born September 12, 1928, recently passed away on August 28th, 2025, to join her late husband Salvador Sciuto (97 at passing) born on April 17, 1923, who passed away on November 19, 2020.

In the last few days of Charlotte’s life, the one thing that she kept telling everyone and that was giving her peace of mind was that she knew she had a date with her husband, and that they would be dancing soon.

Together they shared over 73 years of marriage. During their 73 years they experienced moving across the country from New York/Connecticut to California, Utah, Nevada, and then went back and called Utah home for many years until their passings. They were members of Catholic religion. Charlotte was a homemaker and took care of anything and everything at home while for most of Sal’s adult life he was a mover and moved many celebrities in Beverly Hills and got to share some amazing stories with them. Everyone always enjoyed his stories; there was never a dull moment.

Sal was an incredible World War Two Veteran who served in the US Army for over two years and three months in US and foreign areas as a P.F.C. (Private First Class) within the G333rd Infantry Regiment. Later in life Sal and Charlotte even wrote a book to share some of his stories during his time. “World War Two Real Life Events Told By A Veteran”.

Charlotte was an amazing cook and painter during her life. When Holidays were nearing everyone would be sure to save as much room as possible for her famous Spaghetti and Meatballs. You can’t forget about those delicious Pizzelle cookies too! While you were waiting for the great food you could never miss those incredible paintings hung around the house. Each one telling their own story.

They are survived by their two sons, Steven (Robyn) Sciuto and Michael (Josephine) Sciuto. Along with their Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.

Charlotte and Salvador will both be missed and remembered by the stories they have shared with their amazing lives together, the people they have touched, and the examples they set on life.

Their services will be held on September 9th, at 1PM, located at Camp Williams Veterans Cemetery 17111 S Redwood Rd, Bluffdale, UT 84065 (second niches entrance).

There will be a Celebration of Life after the services at Steve and Robyn’s home in Riverton. (Address available on request).
