Cheryl Lynn Spivey December 25, 1949 – August 12, 2025
Cheryl Lynn Spivey, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at her residence in Trinity, TX on August 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on December 25, 1949 in Houston, Texas, to Morris James Spivey and Marjorie Louise Spivey, Cheryl grew up with a heart for family and service. She had three siblings, Morris Richard Spivey, James Terrence Spivey and Nancy Louise Frederick. She raised two children, Jerry Don Meadows and Teresa Lynn Lee.
Her devotion to the Lord was the foundation of her life. Even during her battle with cancer, she spoke with peace and anticipation about meeting her Savior in heaven. Her unwavering faith was an inspiration to all who knew her and she taught all of us that death is not to be feared when you have faith in the One who holds eternity.She was preceded in death by her parents Morris James Spivey, Marjorie Louise Spivey, her brothers Morris Richard Spivey and James Terrence Spivey, brother-in-law Michael Frederick and sister-in-law Barbara Spivey. She is survived by Nancy Frederick, Jerry Meadows, Teresa Lee (Russell Lee), her grandchildren Lena Soto (Miguel Soto), Rebekah, Andrew, Anna and Lydia Lee. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Jerry Meadows, Jason Smith, Andrew Lee, Richard Lee, Ryan Lee and Randall Lee.Cheryl will be remembered for her kindness, steadfast faith, and the warmth she brought to everyone she met. Her love continues to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
