Dear Mr. Willey and Family , Chet was a teacher of mine at Exeter High School. Later he was on the faculty with me at EHS as I came back to be a teacher in the system. He was a wonderful History teacher to many students who are now out there with his wonderful example of being such a great man. Later as a assistant principal doing a great job. To lose such a cherished loved one can be such a difficult chapter. Mr Willey was a loving individual who made a positive impact in the lives of many. Sending you my heartfelt love and hugs.

I was a colleague of Chet’s at EHS as well as a good friend for almost 50 years. His soft spoken yet firm approach to students was fundamental in building a culture of excellence at Exeter. Teenagers often thought(and think) that the world is unfair. But Chet had a way to have them see that they were valued and that they all had something to offer. I fondly remember Mr. Willey from Exeter, teaching and then principal. He was a great man and did so much for Exeter and the students. He will be missed. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family.
