Christian's Obituary

CHRISTIAN MAKAI CARTER-PROCTOR (AGE 8) OF WHITE PLAINS, MD.Christian Makai Carter Proctor was born Sunday, November 9,2008 to Kathryne Carter and Derrick Proctor. Against all odds, Christian overcame many battles throughout his life. By the Grace of God, he was weaned off the ventilator in his early years. Even though Christian was non-verbal, he was able to communicate with you. He would look at or point to something he wanted, shook his head yes and no, was very alert, aware of his surroundings, knew how to get off the couch, bed and out his wheelchair. He attended school at Berry Elementary and Arthur Middleton Elementary in Waldorf, MD. Christian enjoyed attending services and activities at Calvary Gospel Church, music, playing with his toys, going to the park (specifically for the swing), watching Family Feud, sweet frog yogurt, any foods that his Mommy blended and put through his g-tube, the redskins and bossing everyone around. Christian was loved very much and everyone had a nickname for him. He was called Bright Eyes, Fat Boy, Luv Muffin, Boobie, Boobie Doo, Shin-Shin, Suga Bear, Chris-Chris and Budder.Christian M. C.
