Christie, I first met Christie at Wichita General Hospital she was our unit secretary, then we were @ United Regional Hospital in PCU. Always one of the best unit secretaries & quick to help us Nurse's pull up orders & get them done. Christine Marie Couch, 53, of Wichita Falls, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025.
The family will receive friends between 6 and 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Funeral services celebrating Christine’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025 in the chapel of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grandfield Cemetery in Grandfield, Oklahoma.
Christine was born on October 3, 1971 in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a graduate of Wichita Falls Old High School and went on to receive her certification as a Nurse Aide. Christine worked at U.R.H.C.S. from 1995 until 2024, and worked in the medical field for over 30 years. She loved to work out, binge watch reality T.V. shows, and most of all, hanging out with her family and friends. Christine’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and her family. She loved supporting her nieces, nephews and grandchildren in all their sports and activities.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Leta Creagle, and Bill Melton; and her father and mother-in-law, Ralph Littles and Ida Couch.
She is survived by her mother, Bettie Melton; her loving husband of 35 years, Greg Couch; her daughter, Ashlie Couch; her son, Aaron Littles and wife Maci; extended sons, Jason Williams, Preston King, and Markel King; three brothers, Billy Melton, Troy Melton, and Tim Melton and wife Sarah; her grandchildren, Kameron, Bayleighi, and Brenlen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will miss her dearly.
