Christine's Obituary

Christine Diane Williams, 57, of New Cumberland, West Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at UPMC Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on October 9, 1966. Surviving are her husband, Pastor Samuel Williams Jr; daughters LaTawni Williams and Taylor Williams of Steubenville; sons Samuel (Haley) Williams III of Weirton, and Gerron McMiller and his children of Cleveland; mother Mary Lou Pepper; sister Theresa (Matthew) Cork of Weirton; brother Greg (Michelle) Clark of Wintersville; mother-in-law Jacqueline Williams of Cleveland; grandchildren Jahbari, Aleyah, Lyric, Jahzaire, Kayvion, and Atlas. Chrissy also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, dear friends, church family, and co-workers.

 

She was preceded in death by her stepfather Frank Pepper.

 

Chrissy served as an office manager at TranSmart and devoted over 25 years to her role as a registered nurse, most recently working at Weirton Medical Center. She took pride in being a child of God and served as a Pastor alongside her husband at Christ the King Family Worship Center in Weirton. The light and love that Pastor Chris brought into this world will be forever missed.

 

Family and friends will be received at Gregory-Martin Chapel, 255 S. 7th Street in Steubenville, Ohio, for a visitation at 11:00 am on Sunday, January 28, 2024, until the time of her celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m.
