Not sure what to say?

I met Chris when he arrived at my grade school in fifth grade. We became fast friends and had many great times together along with his brother Zach. Although I hadn't seen him in many years , I still have many good memories of Chris and his family. God bless you Mrs. L.
Sincerely Teddy Smith.

This is beyond sad he did what he loved

I transferred into Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School in the seventh grade. Chris was the first person to step up and welcome the new kid. A small gesture, but one that was greatly appreciated and one that began a lifelong friendship.

Chris had an open and empathetic soul. I am proud to have called him friend. Gone too soon; he will be missed, remembered, and loved.

Lawlor Family: I am Gerry "Coach" Golden, 1982 St. Bonaventure University graduate. I am so sorry for your loss as Chris was a great man and one I always admired. Chris and I were good friends, especially while at St. Bonaventure as he graduated two years after me. We lived on 2nd Shay dorm floor together. He knew me as "Coach" as I was dubbed as such for my "over the top" interest in Intramural Sports and was the floor captain for "Lower Shay" which was a floor unit of 1st, 2nd and...

It is with great sadness that I recognize the passing of my dear friend, Chris Lawlor.

In recent years, Chris dedicated himself to writing for local media outlets, sharing stories that celebrated our community. He had a special connection with DePaul Catholic High School and was a loyal supporter of DePaul Catholic athletics. Chris faithfully followed the DePaul sports teams and took extraordinary pride in writing about their accomplishments.

What made Chris truly...

I worked for many years at the Record
with Chris. He was passionate, funny and loved sports and life. May his memory be for a blessing.

I have met many people over the years, you made me a better person by the many conversations and experiences we enjoyed. It was my honor to call you a friend. Unfortunately the Good Lord had other plans for you. "We should hurry to love people as they seem to leave us so soon". Eternal Rest Grant unto Christopher Dear Lord and may the perpetual light shine upon him. May Christophers soul and all the souls of the faithfully departed through the Mercy of God Rest in Heavenly Peace, Amen.

Rest in peace Chris. Great guy and friend. Go Bonnie’s!

Chris was one of the most loyal people in the basketball world. Great human being who will be truly missed. One of a kind
