Christopher Craig Murray, 48, of Bangor, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2025.
Born in 1977, Chris graduated from Bangor High School and earned a Bachelor of Science from East Stroudsburg University. He most recently worked for Amazon.
Chris had a deep love of physical fitness and especially enjoyed skiing in the Poconos. Strong-willed and fiercely protective, Chris had a mischievous spark and a heart that cared more than he ever let on. He was complex, but his love—for his kids, for animals, for those he held close—ran deep.
Chris is survived by his children, Julia and Warrior; his mother, Kathleen Murray; his sister, Nicole Murray; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Craig Murray, in 2023.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at St. John’s Church on Morgan Hill, located at 2720 Morgan Hill Road, Williams Township, PA 18042. Lite refreshments will follow the service at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home, Bangor, PA.
