I went to kindergarten and on with Chris. Our days were a day apart and we had the same name. We stayed in touch over the years. He will be truly missed.

Christopher's Obituary

Chistopher M. Swider, age 53, of Lake Station passed away Monday October 15, 2024, at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Christopher was born June 7, 1971, in Gary, Indiana to Henry and Connie (Myers) Swider. He was a welder for Steel Transport, Inc. Christopher was loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Connie Swider of Lake Station; His brother, Jeffrey (Janet) Swider of Westville; niece and nephew, Trisha and Tristan; many other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Swider.

Christopher's cremation services were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel 3781 Central Avenue Lake Station, Indiana 46405.
