Not sure what to say?

Joe and the Westphal family, you have my deepest sympathy on the passing of Chris. I know he will be forever in your hearts and memories of him will bring back smiles.

Dear Wesphal family,

My deepest condolences, I am so sorry for your loss!

I grew up in Shorewood and always enjoyed running into Chris, somewhere around the neighborhood! I will always remember his kind and gentle nature.

Rest in Peace, Chris!

Sincerely,
Clair Gernetzke

Christopher was a gem on Prospect Avenue growing up. I can picture his smile and genuine love of life and love for people as if it were yesterday. Our family always enjoyed him coming over to give his joke of the week. Dear Christopher, you helped shape us and you will be missed. Rest in peace and go tell my parents a good joke

Dear Westphal Family, my heart is heavy. As Joe knows, I worked with Chris on the lakefront for Parks. He always had a joke to tell me and always had a smile on his face. We had many discussions about telephone numbers amongst other things. I'm sorry for your loss and may memories keep him close.

Our heartfelt sympathy to you Jeannie and your family. Brothers are special people, especially to their sisters. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Im sorry to hear of Christophers death. We grew up on the same street and he taught me many valuable lessons of life, that I still admire him for. Over the years, when I thought about him, I was reminded whats most important in life. I thank him for teaching me kindness, compassion and patience.

Chris was always such a kind cousin and he'll be greatly missed by us all!

I am so sorry for your loss. Chris was such a special person. He will be sorely missed here at the Milwaukee Public Museum. - Roselyn Smolej-Hill
