Chris at a Calrailfans Meet Stockton

Chris used to drive up to Roseville fairly often to watch trains. He would have lunch at the Roundhouse Cafe across from the shops, often frequented by UP employees. One day, a guy he was talking with, went back and brought him a UP hard hat. He showed up at one of our Stockton Calrailfans meets wearing it. Amused, we said he looked like a UP Supervisor.

When I moved back to California and joined the local railroad group, Chris was the first individual I spoke with. He shared many great stories over the years. His wit and intelligence will be missed by all who knew him. The photo shows Chris on the left.

Chris was a very caring person, who loved helping others, including the railfan group which he and I both supported. His humor was always genuine. I will miss you my friend, and my memories of you will never end. RedZone
