Churie Marie Owen, 36, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 10:40 pm, Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born May 14, 1980 in Huntington, Indiana to David Owen and Kay (Reckard) Beaver.Churie was a 1998 graduate of Wabash High School. She attended New Journey Community Church, in Wabash. Churie enjoyed motorcycle riding, snowmobiling, water sports; especially skiing, and loved children. She is survived by her father, David Owen of Florida, mother, Kay Beaver of Huntington, brother and sisters, Krofton (Sharon) Owen of Saint Petersburg, Florida, Natalie (Mike) Ingle and Alicia (Adam) Etter, both of Huntington, grandparents, Dean (Elsie) Reckard of Huntington, step-mother, Jennifer Owen, Step-father, Doug Beaver, and companion, Adam Reahard of Wabash. Memorial service will be 11:00 am, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Ave, Wabash, with Pastor Dennis Beckner officiating. Friends may call from 9:30 - 11:00 am, Saturday, at the funeral home.Preferred memorial is New Journey Community Church.
