Cindy McFall, age 70, passed away on November 13, 2025. Cindy is survived by her devoted fiancé Chucky Branch. Beloved mother to Tina Franko (Tim). Loving grandmother to Colt. Cherished daughter to the late Eddie and Janet (nee Edwards). Loving fur-momma to her kitties Bella and Angel who were by her side until the end.My mom always put others before herself and would give you the shirt off of her back if you needed it. She loved her family more than life itself and I find a little bit of comfort in telling her story…… She did not want to be looked at in a casket and hated the thought of being in a cold ground with all the bugs. She only wanted to be cremated and come home with her family. After convincing from my husband I decided that I have to have a small celebration of her life and tell a little of her life’s journey. I can’t let her go without trying to paint her picture and then she will come home with us. She also did not want a depressing service so I wish for happy memories and loving thoughts to fill the void. She was an amazing cook and truly enjoyed cooking for anyone that would allow her to. She also enjoyed sharing her recipe for the day with me and my husband and her grandson and fiance . She would send us all photos and updates via text throughout the day. Lol. My son would say mom why does mama send me recipes all the time. I told him that it brought her joy to and just tell that they look yummy. She would always have Andy Griffith or Gunsmoke or golden girls or mash playing in the background. Or she would listen to her favorite songs which we will be playing at her celebration of life and that my sister in law Beth put together for her. She loved her grandson to pieces and carried his picture with her always. She would tell me how handsome , respectful and smart that he was and what an outstanding young man that he has turned into. I have so many memories but one in particular that sticks out is when we would pick her up for Easter dinner. She would sit in the backseat with her grandson Colt and sneak him a giant bag of candy and whisper don’t tell your mom. He would just smile and enjoy every sticky and gummy piece with his braces and all because it was from his Mama with love. She always told me how amazed and proud of Colt that she was because he would get up on many days at 4:30 am and go to work and then come home after work and go to his apprenticeship class until 10 pm and back up at 4:30 am the next day. She adored Colts girlfriend Kiersten and said that they reminded her of 2 little old souls and were just so precious together and to her. She was so proud of Kiersten for going to nursing school and for both of them for working so hard towards their future. Her fiance Chucky was with her everyday through her journey from day 1. They actually went to grade school together and ended up together by fate. She always said that “ Chucky would go absolutely anywhere for me anytime day or night if I had a taste for a milkshake or pizza or just anything at all if I wanted it”. When her and I talked she made sure to mention how thankful she was that I had married into such a loving family. She loved my mother in law Shirlyn like a sister and she called my father in law Tim Sr. The Godfather of the family because she said he was like the strong glue that held it together. A memory that I will not forget is when Shirlyn sewed 2 tattoo gun patches of my moms onto the back of her favorite leather jacket for her. My mom absolutely loved that leather and wore it all the time. I now keep it close by because it reminds me of her and it smells so much like her sweet smell only my mom could have. She also talked to me about how proud she was of my sister in law Beth for being such a smart teacher and for my brother in law Neil for being an amazing nurse! She always praised my nieces Hannah and Ella and said how beautiful and smart that they were and that she was proud of the respectful young ladies they were. She praised my husband Tim for being the absolute best father and husband. She made sure that he knew how proud she was of him for being a Marine Veteran and a Cleveland police Officer and risking his life and a phenomenal provider to me and Colt. My mom truly never got over the emptiness and heartbreak of losing her parents Eddie and Janet. We didn’t have much family and it was just her and I most of the time. She said that I didn’t grow legs until about age 5 because I was so close to her and “ attatched to her hip” She told me at least once a day via text or phone that I was her “God sent angel” that saved her from self destruction . She always said that I was like the “ bossy parent “ and she was the kid. lol She worked 3 jobs including nurse’s aide, factory work, tattoo artist, bartender, construction laborer just to mention a few. She only had a 10 th grade education and this made her determined to make me do better. She always told me that there would be 3 hot meals a day and a clean house but that I was going to get an education so that I did not have to depend on anyone like she did most of her life. Her journey was cut short unexpectedly. She fought so hard to overcome her diagnosis and she almost made it! Her Doctor told her 2 weeks ago that she was so far ahead of the spectrum curve of over 95 percent of his other patients at this point. He took her hand and told her just how proud of her that he was and that she only had 3 more treatments to go. She would get up so early everyday Monday through Friday for over 2 months and put her mascara and lipstick on and head out to her radiation and chemo despite being so scared and uncertain inside but never wanting to worry me or any of us. She always apologized for being such a burden which tore me up. She always arrived over an hour early everyday and would wait in the parking lot with Chucky. I told her that mom you don’t have to get there so early and she would say it’s ok BABY DOLL I don’t mind. I would rather get here and just look at my phone. She loved all of the oncology staff that helped her through this battle and she always thanked them and brought them special treats to try to brighten their day. Even at one of her last appointments 2 weeks ago I was coming down the hall from the surgery clinic where I work to see her real quick and bring her a snack to try to get her to eat. I could hear her voice in the distance and as I came down the hall I saw her telling a little old lady on a stretcher that was very scared just how pretty that she looked today. She tried to comfort her and told her that she was in good hands here and to hang in there honey. Despite her own fears and pain from radiation burns to her neck and throat and tongue and mouth she still managed to try to uplift someone who she thought was in need. My mom would stop by the clinic where I work after her treatments to just say hi to the nurses and medical assistants that I work with when I was off. This made her feel closer to me and she loved all of them. They would tell me the next day that your mom stopped in and we were all loving on her. This melted my soul and I am grateful for all of their love and support through my moms battle. She had a nasty slip and fall last week and went to the ER and was discharged home with “ chest trauma “ amongst multiple other things. She left the er and just wanted to get under her electric blanket to warm up and snuggle her kitties. She was subsequently taken too soon a few hours after being discharged from the ER before she could win her battle despite fighting so hard to overcome her diagnosis. She was as tough as nails but genuinely as delicate as a butterfly or flower. She was at home on her favorite couch under her electric blanket with her precious kitties Bella and Angel by her side as always. They were with her until the end to guide her towards the heavenly light so that she may now have eternal rest and heavenly peace. My mom would beam with joy and happiness for any opportunity that we had to be together as a family. It is with my deepest sadness and full empty ache in my heart that she was not able to celebrate another holiday with us. Thanksgiving would have been our first holiday all together as one with her Fiance Chucky and she was so happy for it to get here. If only we had one more day to hug you and comfort you and tell you how much we love you and that we will miss you and just how PROUD of you that we are for putting up such a fight!!!! May you now rest and not worry about anything anymore and please watch over us from the heavens above. Until we meet again all of our love. We love you!In lieu of flowers my mom would have loved to give an everlasting gift to Gods innocent creatures and she had a huge heart for the voiceless animals.
