Sorry for your loss, Patty, but how fortunate you are to have had your mother to live to 99! I remember your mother being there when I visited you at your home during our Elementary school years. Claire's Obituary
Claire I. (Gonye) Cling, 99, of Windsor, CT, died April 15, 2017.Born in Derry, NH on April 16, 1918, she was the youngest of nine children of Napoleon and Albina (Fortier) Ricard.She graduated from Pinkerton Academy, Class of 1936.Until her retirement, she was a bookkeeper with B & G Specialty Company for many years.She was married to Edward R. Gonye, Sr. who died in 1973 and Hy Cling who died in 1994. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Marylou Bibeau.Family members include a daughter, Patricia Nye of Windsor, CT; two sons, Edward R. Gonye, Jr. of St. Petersburg, FL and Thomas H. Gonye of Anaheim, CA; a stepdaughter, Joyce Hill; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.Services: Calling hours are Friday from 10 to 11 AM in Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH.A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11AM. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry.
