Obituary

Clarence's Obituary

Clarence Edwards Mabien, Sr, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend peacefully passed away leaving a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

He was a proud graduate of Mobile County Training School, Class of 1967.  He dedicated many years of hard work and service to Scott Paper Company/Kimberly Clark, where he later retired from.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roosevelt & Allener Mabien, siblings Deloris Austin, Roosevelt Mabien, Jr, Herman Mabien, and Gwendolyn Whittaker.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Diana Mabien, children Clarence(NaTasha) Mabien, Katina Pettway, Lakia Mabien, and Monica Mabien.  His legacy lives on through his adored grandchildren Amaya, Alondra, Alexandria, Jayden, and Alise Mabien.

He’s also survived by his loving siblings, Carrie(Garland) Florence, Gerri(Rickey) Oden, and Sylvester (Ardie) Mabien; along with devoted nephew Montae Whittaker, Sr, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
