A former TWA and American Airlines flight attendant and fitness instructor, Claudia touched the lives of so many over her 74 years. Based out of Southern California, she loved being a part of the airline industry and had many great stories of the ‘old days’ of flying. During her career she also did Union work for the Independent Federation of Flight Attendants.
Fitness was a passion of hers, and she devoted over 40 years to it – first during the aerobics class craze and later as a spinning instructor three times a week until age 73 at the Ballwin Pointe. Claudia’s friends were her family, and she got pleasure out of a good movie, seeing a good play at The Muny or Fox Theatre, and keeping up with current events. She was also an active volunteer for the County Older Resident Programs and for others who were visually impaired.
Claudia leaves behind a goddaughter, Marlene Reynoso, and many friends who will remember the joy she brought to each person she touched.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 18th from 4:30 to 6:00 pm at The Ballwin Pointe, #1 Ballwin Commons Circle, Ballwin, MO 63021. Contributions in her memory for retinal research may be made to Dr. Rithwick Rajagopal Research Support Fund at Washington University in St. Louis, MSC 1082-414-2555, Washington University, 1 Brookings Drive, St. Louis, MO 63130-9989.
