Not sure what to say?

Growing up with Clay made memories that stick. Reel to reel Sly and the Family Stone recordings blaring from a huge homemade speaker, the old Packard in the back yard, riding on the back of his mini bike around the Church Street schoolyard, Yamahas screaming at the old west end track. Clay could push buttons and boundaries, but he sure was fun to be around. I was very fortunate to have known him. A good friend.

We are so sorry for your loss! We always admired Uncle Clay’s humor, strong work ethic and mostly his fun loving spirit. My favorite memories of him were made at the River. He loved the water & boating! He brought joy to those around him and he will be deeply missed. Sending love and heartfelt condolences to Neal, Christian and all who loved him!
Love,
Sal, Kellee and Ella ❤

I’m sorry to hear of clays passing. Condolences to Neal and family.

Neal and Christian,
Although time and distance separated us,
Clay was always my baby brother that I love. I admired his many talents and work ethic. Clay Boy as I called him has left a big hole in my heart.
He has truly raised a terrific and responsible son that I admire.
Love,
Aunt Pam

In our late teens, we spent a considerable amount of time together boating and skiing at San Souci. Clay was always up for an adventure and lived life to the fullest. Even at that age, his ability to build and repair anything amazed me. We were all fortunate to have him touch our lives and he will be missed.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Having grown up in the same neighborhood as Clay and my brother Danny Howard being friends, I have a lot of fond memories of him. From seeing their close friend group of Bobby Moses, Eddie Hardison, Danny and Clay working on one another’s cars, riding motorcycles, to just hanging out together being teenage boys was part of my childhood. Clay was definitely a free spirit and was way cool for his generation. Most of the neighborhood girls had a crush on him. He was more like a brother to...

Clay was a amazing man and cousin I can't believe he is gone I just talked to him a few days ago I will miss you

I'll miss seeing you around
