God Bless the family during this time, I’m so truly sorry for your loss , he was such a wonderful, sweet, and caring person, he’ll truly be missed!

We met back in the early 90’s. Man I remember us hanging out all night on Lafayette back when B&G was the go to store. We waited all night until the morning to get a “Cheeseburger Special” All the good brothers are leaving. I hate to hear you passed away bro. Damn

I will always love you Clayton my best friend, my heart,my soul since 1983 and forever! Rest easy up there until I get there tell MJ, Jon and Pop hello for me! You will forever live in my heart ❤

Dear Cousin, there isn't much to say... same words spoken so many times before and too often. It's never easy to say goodbye... But like our loved ones up there with you, you have gained your wings. This world couldn't handle someone like you and it's unfortunate we've lost you so soon. May God be with the family and friends. Fly high and watch over us all.

Clayton's Obituary

Clayton Troy Williams was born in Roanoke, Va September the 28th, 1975 to Elsie Fay Williams and the late Clayton Troy Bond. Clayton departed this life in the early morning of November 14,2021

Clayton was 46 years old when he departed. He was a 1994 graduate of William Fleming High School Class . Growing up, Clayton was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church.  He worked as a welder, brick mason.  He loved to ride his mopeds and shoot pool.  He was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather.  His friends loved him as brothers and he was a helpful soul.  

He was preceded in death by his Father Clayton Troy Bond, Grandfather Troy Charlie Bond, His grandfather Willie Oscar Williams, and his grandmother Clara Williams, Uncle JD. Willi Oscar Jr and Aunt Sandra Lee Williams, And his best friend/brother Michael Jackson. 

Left to cherish his memories are; Mother Elsie Fay Williams, Sister Bettina (Robert) Jeffrey. Brother Glenn Junior Williams.  Daughter Taniah Asha’ Emmons, Son Clayton (Rysheta Edwards)Troy Emmons. Grandmother: Lera D Bond. Aunt Leanor (Tony) Bond Williams. Uncle Fred Charlie Bond. Very Special family member Deborah Kessler, Brother Mosi Coleman. Uncles;  Rev Donald(Izetta) Williams, Stanley Williams.  Aunt Lucile(Carl) Brooks, Aunt Ida (Wayne) Tucker Aunt Ella( Rev Constance) Eural.  Clayton loved and cherished his grand children.  Jadrien  Wallace, Nylah Emmons Wallace,and NaZaire Emmons Wallace.;Granddaughter, Essence Edwards Emmons.  Special list of cousins; LaToya Nicole Younger,  Fred  Charlie Bond Jr., Melvin (Janette) Moorman, Dwane Williams, D.J. Williams Terri Williams. Roger Williams, Rahim Muhammad, Mark Williams, Marlisa Williams, William Divers, Rhonda Divers, David (O’Shelia) Eural, Daniel( Ashley)Eural , Nikki Ervin and Terri (Michelle) Hurt. Nieces;  Mikia Williams, Jada Bland May Walker. And nephew Cedric. And very long list of other cousins relatives and very special friends,

Clayton will forever be a part of our lives and the people he has touched, his laughter and smile will be something that will always be remembered.    

Thank you all, The family appreciates you all for the love and support at this time.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, 2:00PM at Paradise Cathedral Worship Center, 1301 Melrose Ave. Roanoke, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.  Friends may view the remains on Friday, 2-5PM at Serenity.  The interment will be held in Emmanuel Holiness Church cemetery, Hardy, VA.
