Clemente Cepeda

Clemente Cepeda, born December 2, 1935, in Tamaulipas, Mexico went to be with the Lord on June 21, 2025, at the age of 89. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Angela Cepeda; parents, Mauricio and Eloisa Cepeda; and his brother, Edelmiro Cepeda. 

He is survived by his daughters, Sylvia Cepeda, Zoila Cepeda and partner Rob Hunter, Janie Cepeda and wife Dr. Dulce Benavides, Angela Jasso and husband Roel Jasso; son, Sergio Cepeda and wife Annabelle Rodriguez; brother, Hector Cepeda; 12 Grandchildren; 12 Great-grandchildren; numerous extended family and friends. 

Clemente was a remarkable man and human being. He was kind, generous, honest, and very hardworking. His work ethic enabled him to provide an education for his 5 children and wanted nothing more than for everyone to succeed in life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but his passion was his family life. He will be greatly missed and will forever live in his loved one’s hearts. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM rosary at Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Procession will depart Hillcrest on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 9:30 AM for a 10:30 AM mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, Texas. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II.
