So sad to hear of Cliff's passing. He was a great help here at the Newport Food Pantry; we enjoyed each others company on those cold weekends, taking in, and stocking food.

Oh Buddy, you and Cliff have been an inspiration to us all as you've exemplified what true love and devotion is. The last decade has been so hard and you met each challenge together.
He'll remain in your heart and in the hearts of all who have loved him. I hope you are strengthened by that bond which never dies and by the caring and love of your family and friends.

To Gail and all of the Boyce Family - my deepest sympathies to all of you in losing this great father, husband, brother, uncle and friend. I will miss sharing a glass of wine with him looking out over his beautiful garden. He fought his battle harder than anyone I've ever known.
Thinking of you all.

Clifford H. Boyce, Jr., 80, of Grantham, NH, and formerly Pembroke, MA and South Glastonbury, CT, passed away on October 25, with his wife Gail at his side, after a ten year battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Clifford and Beryl (Long) Boyce and is survived by his sister Diane Guimont. Born in Montpelier, VT, Cliff was raised in Claremont, NH, graduating from Stevens High, class of 55. After a three year U.S Air Force European tour, he settled in Hartford, CT. Cliff held multiple positions at KF Brick, JP Noonan, Hess Oil, Reynolds Aluminum, Waters Corp. and was the owner of Boyce Home Improvement, before retiring in 2002. Not one to sit idle, he went to work part time as an assistant to his friend, Ed Baillargeon, at B & B Petroleum in Portland, CT. Cliff enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, gardening, hunting, fishing with his Bro and especially golfing with his sons and grandsons. He loved hosting large gatherings for family and friends and loved a good cribbage or pinochle game. In his spare time, he volunteered at the Newport Food Pantry. Left to honor and cherish Cliff's memory are his beloved wife of 46 years, Gail (Wayland) Boyce, children Robert Frost, Cliff H. Boyce III and his wife Janet, Craig Boyce, Lisa Taute and her husband Don, Keith Boyce and his wife Lori and grandchildren Carolyn, Sam, Jack, Emma, and Ingrid Taute, Audrey, Erik, Alec, Logan and Michelle Boyce, and his loyal dog Fred, and extended family and friends. Cliff's life will be celebrated on Sunday, November 5, at noon at the Old Main St. Cemetery in New London, NH, followed by a memorial service at Croydon First Congregational Church, 29 Croydon Tpke., Croydon, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make a Wish Foundation, or to the Newport Food Pantry, 95 S. Main St., Newport, NH. A special Thank You to Nurse James and our dear family, friends, and neighbors for their support and love.
