Mr. Clark was a CVCC Board member/chair from 1999-2007, and I had the pleasure to get to know him during this time. He was such a gentleman and always arrived at our meetings with a smile along with a kind word.

Mr Clark will always be remembered as an excellent leader in our black community in the education system.

The celebration for Mr Clark today was wonderful. During my brief internship with LCS Administration office (many years ago as a college student )and as a former member of First Baptist Church, Mr. Clark had always shown me kindness. I will always remember him as a true man of integrity, and quite amusing too. One thing I always admired is that

Clyde was a wonderful man and a dedicated educator.

Praying for the family of Brother Clyde Clark Sr. He was a dedicated community leader and educator. He was a faithful member of the Gamma Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. I also remember him when I was a student at E.C. Glass High School, always a role model. His legacy will live on in the lives that he touched.
